Description
I painted this during worship the day before my husband, Bill, started chemotherapy for a chronic form of leukemia. The fire is burning up the cancer. The mantle of blue/purple represents Jesus Christ in his royal splendor surrounding Bill and the fire. The blue-green is the cleansing water of the Holy Spirit. The fingerprints are God's and He was saying "I am with you in the midst of this fire." The gold thread is lassoing the cancer cells and taking them up to heaven where they are redeemed by Jesus blood. Two weeks after his first treatment his blood levels are already great! Still a little way to go, but we are claiming complete healing!
