Family Canvas Print

This image came to me as a friend was describing his ministry, "House on the Rock", that fosters strong family units. The translucent center represents God's presence in the lives of the man and woman. It also represents 3 children who are formed in the image of man (both red and blue showing through) but transformed into the image of God as Jesus is made a part of their lives. The positioning of the man was quite deliberate. God showed me that he was to encompass the woman and the children with a full embrace, as protector over them all. There is a little blue on the woman and a little pink on the man. This is to show that from the flesh of man came the woman (Genesis 2:21-24), and all men are born of the flesh of women (Genesis 4:1).

Worshipful Art is a creative expression of worship which is simultaneously inspired by and given back to God. Deborah starts in front of a congregation/audience with a blank canvas and no particular image in mind. As she prays and paints, God reveals what He wants made manifest through her hand at each gathering. Those present get to enjoy the unfolding of God’s 'visual' message before their very eyes. Through both realistic and abstract artistic expressions, God is able to speak directly to each viewer’s soul bringing revelation, healing, and peace.
